Robert Joseph Cruz is a professional photographer based in Philadelphia, PA, specializing in portraits, events, and sports photography. With a natural ability to recognize beauty and capture unique perspectives, Robert has honed his visual instincts over time, gaining a deep understanding of how people perceive and interact with the world around them.

 

In 2023, Robert earned the position of Photo Editor for the award-winning independent college newspaper, The Temple News, after joining the team as a freelancer in 2022. During his time at the publication, Robert had countless photos published, managed a team of freelance photographers, and earned multiple front-page features.

 

To date, Robert has worked on over 100 photoshoots and dozens of sports events. From Philadelphia and New York City to his hometown of East Stroudsburg, PA, Robert practices freelance portrait, sport, event, and landscape photography.
